My Childhood Shows and Toys
Do you remember the Backyardigans? Dora the Explorer? Teletubbies? These are some of the shows that were popular when I was younger, but there were a lot more I spent my time watching.
One of my favorite shows was Kim Possible. I fell in love with the show when I was around 6 or 7 years old, and I used to play a game where I acted like I was Kim Possible. I stopped evil villains in their tracks, and still attended "high-school" (which was only a couple minutes long). But, I eventually got bored of this game because there was no one to play with and no evil villain to defeat.
But I still loved the show and the characters. My favorite character was the main character, Kim Possible, because I thought she was really cool, and I kind of looked up to her.
A toy that reminds me of my childhood was my LeapFrog Explorer. When I was 4 years old, my parents bought me and my brother, who was 3 at the time, 2 green ones. At the same time, my sister was given an iPod. Since I was a very stubborn child, I didn't accept the LeapFrog Explorer at first because I wanted an iPod. But by the next day, I was already addicted to the games.
A LeapFrog Explorer is like a Nintendo DS, but for younger children. Most of the games were educational, but the ones I remember loving was the Backyardigans game, and the Go Diego Go! game. I totally forgot about that LeapFrog Explorer, but now I realize how big of a role it played during my childhood.

Ahhh! My daughters loved their leapfrogs so much. I remember how they thought they were so grown up to have a tech toy. Thanks for helping me pull up that sweet memory.
